About

Amy Hemnes (owner) When asked for a reason that she loves her job, Amy responded “being a hairdresser reminds me of childhood slumber parties. I get to play with hair styles and talk with my friends!” Amy is very warm and welcoming, and she loves to make people feel and look beautiful. Since starting her career in 2001, Amy has attended advanced training in New York City at Bumble and bumble U several times. She enjoys holding classes within the salon to learn new techniques and become inspired. When Amy isn’t at Plum, she loves camping in her trailer with her husband, two children, and Boston terrier.
